What Does Gut Health Impact?
Gut health permeates so many different areas of our lives. By focusing on gut health, it is possible to see relief in the following areas:
Acne & Allergies
There are many symptoms of gut health issues, such as constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating, acid reflux. But did you know that both acne and allergies are also symptoms of an imbalance? By nourishing your gut, you will not only notice improvements in digestion, but you might also notice clearer skin and be less susceptible to seasonal allergies and yes, even food sensitivities.
Depression & Anxiety
Ninety Five percent of our serotonin (our happy hormone) is produced in the gut. I repeat, 95 percent. If you struggle with anxiety or depression, it could be linked to your diet and lifestyle. I offer easy and manageable tips to improve the health of your gut microbiota. Improve the health of your gut microbiota and it could lessen the severity or symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Immune System
Did you know that 70% of the immune system is housed in the gut? How cool is that! If you notice that you get sick often or feel you have your doctor on speed dial, it’s time to hone in on your gut health. It’s time to put down the over the counter cold medications and take matters into your own hands (or gut?).
Acne
While poor gut health isn’t the sole cause of acne, but it is absolutely one of the biggest contributors. Often when things appear on the surface, it is a symptom of something happening underneath.

For as long as I can remember, I've struggled with GI distress. This might be TMI, but I would get bloated, gassy, and would often experience alternating diarrhea and constipation. I followed the protocol in Nourished Digestion and cut out some of the major irritants (such as dairy and gluten) and I felt 1000x better after just a couple weeks. I also LOVE the recipes included in this book, as they are unique and really good!"
